David Saha is Head of Economic Advisory for Deloitte in Germany and a Director in Deloitte’s Valuation, Modelling & Economics service area. He has more than 11 years of experience in economic, energy and climate policy, with substantial experience in leading projects and teams for public and private clients. His areas of expertise include energy and climate policy, industrial policy including the design and implementation of state aid programmes, public finance with a focus on tax and budget issues, trade policy and economic impact analysis. He is the author of a vast array of studies on his fields of expertise, and a regular speaker and panelist on policy issues. Before Deloitte, worked at Berlin Economics as Economic Consultant and Head of Energy and Climate, as a policy officer for a state-level Ministry of Economic Affairs and as an associate fellow for Bruegel, an EU Economic Policy think tank. He holds an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics, an MA in Political Sciences from Columbia, a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of York and is an alumnus of the German National Merit Foundation.
