Luise Quaritsch is Policy Fellow for EU Democracy at the Jacques Delors Centre. Her research focusses on EU’s democracy agenda, platform regulation, digital democracy and the rule of law. Before joining the Jacques Delors Centre, she worked on these topics for the European Commission, Verfassungsblog (an academic and journalistic open access forum) and the Centre for Policy Research of the United Nations University as a Carlo Schmid fellow, amongst others.
Furthermore, she developed economic impact assessments and evaluations for the European Commission and German Federal Ministries as part of a consultancy firm. Luise studied International Relations at TU Dresden and European Law at the University of Leiden; she is also a graduate of the European Master of Law and Economics programme.
